Pay it Forward!

A few weeks ago I won the Pay It Forward at the Modern Gal's place. I received a wonderful package filled with goodies. Included was a fabulous luggage tag, note pad, pencils, a "V" key fob and book, Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Also, for the fur kids a fancy tray of treats which they enjoyed immensely. Thank you Modern Gal, we love it!

In honoring the tradition of pay it forward, I'm having a contest. The winner of the contest will receive a goodie box filled with I don't know what yet.

Some of you remember this post from a few weeks ago.

Go ahead, I'll wait.

Back? Pretty cool huh?

(If you are not going to click and look, I will tell you that I got a new bike for summer. But you should click and look because then you can see the bike in all it's purple-y wonderment.)

How does this relate you ask? The contest will be to name my bike. There will be one winner, chosen by myself. (Hey, this isn't a democracy here at Chez Random Ramblings!) Contest will end Friday June 20 at midnight with winner to be announced Saturday morning. Yes I know no one reads blogs on weekend. They are likely out riding their own bikes, enjoying the sunshine. Which is where I am likely to be. So if I forget, someone email me! Ok, enter in the comment section and have a great weekend everyone!

Sir Ridington the Third. "The Third" makes him sound more distinguished.

My first thought was Speedy Schwinn but then I read everyone else's ... and suddenly, it's no good.

So ... I'm going to go with Tonks. (Reminding me of Tonka Trucks, which I think is cute and Tonks from HP, who always had funky colored hair).

I like "Violette" for your bike name.

Also, that book is GREAT! Hope you enjoy it.

Ethel

Seriously... you shouldn't have a fun little "fruity" name for your purple bike. Ethel the Bike is going to BUST YOUR BALLS... well she would if you had balls. She will bust balls if you let her.

Dare a man of your aquantance to go RIDE her. Hee. Either he will refuse (BUSTED BY ETHEL!) to be seen on a purple bike OR he will RIDE ETHEL! Wowie.. I want pictures. I'm almost turned on. **snicker!**

Now, don't be going and riding poor Ethel into any trees, at a park, with LOTS of people watching. I'm refusing to admit this may have happened to me. Okay, it did. I really have to write about this experience.

You ride Ethel and have your husband name his bike, Fred. You can become SWINGING bikers!

**so laughing!**
Get a helmet. ;-) Practice safe ummm... biking.

Pāʻani means play(recreation) in Hawaiian

Kai ʻina means lavender in Hawaiian

mākuʻe mean purple in Hawaiian

Paikikala means bicycle in (you guessed it!) Hawaiian

I'm not at the top of my "creative game" lately!
